NOTE: Online wheat entries are accepted August 213 - September 259 this year. Printable entry forms and the online application will be available on this website during that time frame.
The University of Missouri Crop Performance Program announces its call for soft winter wheat entries into the 2026 tests. This year we continue to offer unbiased variety comparisons to farmers throughout the Midwest. We value your participation in this important program. Please observe and follow our entry, payment, and seed delivery deadlines. We have limited space at some of our field sites and we may not be able to accommodate late entries or seed delivery. Please contact us if you have any questions or suggestions.
The wheat experiment consists of three locations each in the North, Southwest, and Southeast Regions of the state. Entries may be submitted with the printable paper copy or using the electronic entry form, please see the menu on the left. Information received electronically will be secure and treated the same as information from hard copy. The same deadlines and rules apply for both methods of entry. Deadline for entry submission is September 259.
After harvest and data analysis, Crop Performance Reports will be distributed free to all entrants and to farmers throughout the Midwest. In addition, our website https://varietytesting.missouri.edu is accessible by farmers and their advisers providing yield data within a few days of harvest for each test.
